Tummy Fat Goals

8 easy steps to achieve flat-tummy goal

There are some easy steps that one can follow to flatten the stomach. It is advisable that these tips should be posted at a visible location as a reminder.

1. A 30 minute walk/jog at least 3 times a week boosts the metabolism thus helping in burning fat.

2. Eating a minimum of 6 almonds every morning provides much needed protein which is good for burning fat.

3. Exercising at least 2-3 times per week taking help from a Pilates DVD tone up the entire body with concentration on the powerhouse (middle section) and perk up flexibility.

4. Increasing fiber in the food and cutting down bad crab also helps. White bread, pastas, potatoes, and white rice should be replaced by brown rice and whole wheat bread, fresh fruits and vegetables (especially the leafy green ones).

5. Minimize the intake of dairy products as these can cause bloating and gas. Drink skim milk instead of the whole milk.

6. To train the abs, perform crunches at least 3 times a week. Avoid sit-ups as they work more on hip flexors and really do very little to firm stomach.

7. Drinking 6 to 8 glasses of water a day not only fill up the stomach but also aids in digestion.

8. Eat the meal 3 to 4 hour before going to bed. If you carve for food before sleeping then munch on fruits or vegetables.

Remember: Flat stomach goal cannot be achieved over night, be patient and remain consistent with diet and exercise.
